UX and Design

After a while that we haven't met, in this meeting we had many dilemmas to discuss.

First we discussed the creative part of the app. The designer sent us his ideas, about 3/4 designs for Yodapp.

Everyone in the group was disappointed from the designs, we couldn't reach an agreement about the design and the logo, it was just not enough. We thought about something specific for our app, something that suits our idea, something young but still professional.

The designs that we received didn't match our creative line so we decided that we need to re-think about the entire design, color scheme and even the name. We are working on that with the designer.

* We started to build the kit for the media, where we explained about Yodapp, our vision for the app, how it should help many young adults who are "stuck" with the lack of knowledge about their degree or what they can do after they finish their studies.

We presented our idea and wrote where it all began - The MiLab.

We still have a little bit of work to do on the kit and some more information to add.

* 2 new opponents for Yodapp came to our knowledge - Yodas and Woo. Because of the similarity to our name we considered creating a new name and re-branding.

The first competitor is Yodas. Yodas developed an engine for high-tech and technology jobs that gives you all the information you need about them. Their UX is very simple and nice.

The second app is - Woo, that gives high-tech people opportunity to know what is the demand for them in the market.

* Last but not least - we came up with ideas for the final film for the app.
